Finding Hawaii in Kamakura

Like I said, I couldn’t escape Hawaii in Kamakura. Not only was there a shop completely decked out in Hawaiian flair, it sold Hawaiian products and gifts from the Islands. It was like walking into an upscale ABC Store in Waikiki and not a small corner shop in Kamakura.

A few blocks away, I found two more brands that are popular in Hawaii – Kua’aina and Honolua. It’s amazing how the Japanese have embraced us from across the Pacific. I suppose this just shows us how much the Japanese enjoy Hawaii and that our connection with Asia is very strong.

Between Torey and your pictures of food, I’m getting hungry and fat looking at them. LOL
