Relaxing in Cactus Valley

When I arrived in Brinchang, I set off in search of Cactus Valley. To be honest, I wasn’t completely sure what it was but people seemed to like it enough to recommend going there.

Well, it turns out that Cactus Valley is an oversized garden-like oasis filled with hundreds of cacti and other plant life. Since I was already there, and the admission fee included the neighboring Big Red Strawberry Farm, I decided to take a look around.

It was odd how peaceful the place was considering it was full of spiky plants. I wandered around taking in the plants and views of the surrounding town. Besides some gardeners tending to the flora, no one was around but me, and it was nice to experience freedom like this. Being up here was quite different from all the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur.

Catching up with the posts, but this one is different. Would not have expected cactus in country, but that is what makes travel interesting. Hidden treasures you would not expect unless you visit the local.

  2. This place was interesting . . . more like a garden than a tourist stop.
